As our Network Test Automation Engineer, you will:
- Validate new product features and the integration of the different components to ensure a delivery ready product
- Develop tools for the automatic validation, deployment and configuration of our satellite communication products
- Perform root cause analysis on issues where possible when reporting them in our systems
- Effectively engage with customers through our customer support department to understand their requirements and advocate their experience
- Help resolve technical and on-going use case challenges
- Proactively engage with our engineering teams to exchange on specific product requirements and to Facilitate smooth integration of the components
- Troubleshoot the integrated products where possible
- Aspire towards a thorough understanding of satellite communication technologies and components
As a prerequisite to become our Network Test Automation Engineer you:
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Computer Sciences, Telecommunication, Electronics, …)
- Master Linux and some scripting languages (bash, ruby, python, perl, …)
- Have at least a first experience in test automation
- Can demonstrate sound knowledge of networking devices and concepts (in a Linux context)
- Are conversational in English
- Love to communicate with a broad range of technical experts and to share information
- Are inquisitive and like to learn daily
Once on board you will:
- Be part of our Product Quality Assurance team based in our European headquarters in Sint-Niklaas (Belgium)
- Travel sporadically towards our customers and work in close collaboration with team members based in Romania and Germany
- Be working on various satellite communication applications and devices ranging from consumer satellite modems to high-end modulators and demodulators
- Be involved in a wide range of technological domains, from software over network and system engineering to electronics
